Suddenly the transparency scanner has stopped working with no light showing and producing black stripey images. Epson say contact local dealer as it is out of warranty. Local dealers say "We only deal with warranty claims". Help, neither could offer any help whatsoever. Can one actually replace/repair this item ?

Thanks. I have now found a servicer able to repair (the nearest two did not do scanner repairs). But the passcode you suggested for the loyalty site does not work!

yes you can either send it to an epson certified servicer or check this site www.epson.com/loyalty and use this passcode LIZARD
