All computers have an internal battery that runs even when the computer is off. The battery in your computer might be worn out and needs to be replaced by an expert.

My computer hangs up

as it is an HP DV6000, with known motherboard issues, I would suggest try running a few other programs also and see if they hang as well.

I have a HP Pavilion Lap top dv6000 AMD

You PC has crashed, you need to run a recovery (which will lead to format the partition and reinstall the O/s, that means all your data will be lost).

Restart the notebook and start tapping F11 key,you will come to Recovery Manager, click on Advance Options, and select System Recovery and click on next, select No without backingup the files (as this option most of the times fails). Click on next and wait for 30-40 mins for the reinstallation to get completed.

Regards,
Shrey

Computer keeps crashing. After I downloaded the skype for the built in web cam on my hp pavilion dv6000, the computer just shuts down, even when I am not logged in skype. Also, I have taken my lap top to...

turn on machine and hit F8 to into safe mode. If cannot load to safe mode i suspected your Operating system is corrupted. You might need to reformat your machine. Back up your files first before doing so because everything will be wiped out.

Battery not charging; what's the price for a new HP Pavillion dv6000 battery in new delhi?

hi there, if you need to replace the battery hun, the best places to check would be the internet on ebay possibly, or lookup laptop batteries with your model number, most places will not have a problem shipping to you, and usually have a single charge or a 1 time shipping charge no matter how much you buy, it is just a matter of comparing rates and if you want a warrenty, and try hp website, that will be good if your unsure about where to go, cuz if anything happens durring shipping the companay will replace it, another thing you can check is hp websites to find a legite representative for the company....thats about all i can help you with.....good luck hun and hope this helps you....shia
