When I try to insert a picture from the import dropdown, the software won't bring up the folder on screen. This is the first time I've had this problem, and I have been using this printer for over a year now. Do you have any idea how I can solve this problem? Thank You.

When you plug in the phone via usb a box should come up asking you what you want to do with the device. Try to use the import or explore feature. Check to be sure your settings are correct from the " view" dropdown in windows explorer for view subfiles and folder. I would make sure that you have the right permissions or are a+ administrator. Also some sd cards have a lock feature check for a switch or padlock icon on the physical disk
Your printer came with an installation CD. If you have installed the content then you should have Epson EasyPrint v3.10 on your computer and that's what you need to use to print. With Epson EasyPrint, you don't have to select your print settings from the Epson printer driver. Instead, the most important Epson print settings are embedded right into your software's Print screen.
If you don't have it, you can get it from Epson website. You will have to filter the results to get the right one for your operating system.
Also, you can read more about Epson EasyPrint here.
There are few methods to enlarge the pictures. You may open MS-Word - insert the picture (insert - picture) - now select the picture in MS-Word and extend the picture with the mouse. Now save as the word file in HTML format and check the saved folder - you will get the enlarge picture file there in the folder.
Another way to enlarge is Photoshop. Open Photoshop - import the picture - select the picture and enlarge it - then save as usual.
If you forget your PIN code, you can regain access to the CX6400 by running the security lock program from your computer: 1.Insert your Stylus CX6400 software CD-ROM. 2.Windows: If you see the Software Installation screen, click Exit. Open the SecurityLock Toolfolder on your CD-ROM, then double-click the program file located in that folder.
Macintosh: The EPSON folder automatically opens (if it doesn’t, double-click the EPSON CD-ROM icon). Then double-click the Security Lockicon.
I had the same problem with an Epson R340 printer and Epson Print CD software after installing Leopard. Here's what I did. Go to System Preferences. Select Print & Fax. Select the "+" box on the lower left part of the screen. Select Epson Printer -- USB and click "Add" and "continue" in the box that comes up (if it does).
Now see if Epson Print CD will print to a CD. If it does, great. You can now actually go back to System Preferences and Print & Fax and delete the printer you just added by clicking on the "-" box and Epson Print CD will still work.
Now I found another problem with printing. The CD printing is now off center to the right and down, so in Epson Print CD program you have to click on print and from the print screen click on "Position Adjustment" in the bottom left corner. I've found the perfect position is 3.5 mm up and 3.5 mm left to make everything print perfectly. Good luck.
I use the Epson Print CD software that cam with my printer. If you refer to the numbers in the attached picture I can show you how to select your own pictures to print on CD.
1. Select the "background" icon in the side bar.
2. Choose "select image"
3. Choose "file" & browse to the folder where your pictures are.
4. You can also choose to import the clipboard if you copy an image from another application or choose "twain" to get images from your scanner or camera.
In the example I chose the "sunset" picture for my CD.
Try the above & let us know how you get on!

PhotoPC 800 captures images in 24-bit color (16.7 million colors). Your pictures will not display maximum image quality if your monitor or computer's video controller doesn't support this color depth. You may need to upgrade your system to achieve the best possible image quality. If your pictures look better on the screen than when you print them out, you may need to upgrade your printer. An EPSON Stylus ink jet printer, for example, provides excellent image quality. If you used drag and drop to insert your pictures, they may appear grainy. Try importing them into your documents instead.
