My Canon Fax-B820 is not able to copy or send faxes but i can phone and receive faxes. Whenever i try to copy or send a fax, as the document is almost halfway in the scanner - it alarms and 'doc feed out' is dipslayed on the LCD. Please help.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
Check the baud rate of your transmissions. Slow them down to the slowest setting and send a test fax to a helpful person. Slowly increase the baud rate (communication data speed) and send the fax test. When the fax doesn't show up on the receive site, then step one baud rate speed back, and save the setting.
It could also be your fax that is faulty, or even the receive sites fax, also being faulty.
To test your copy-head, insert a document into your loading section of the fax and press copy. If the copy prints out fine, then you know the head is reading correctly.
It is also possible that the receiver fax (the other end) has a printhead failure.
