Showing memory full

Hi nokia N series experts

I hv an N70 phone. I am using 2 GB card in my set. For last one week it is showing some times to do any operation "memory full, delete some datas first to continue". I hav checked the phone memory through file manager in mobile and through the PC suit in my PC after removing the 2 GB card. But the phone memory is showing 20MB is full. I have checked all the visible files like contacts, messages..etc in the phone memory. But these all files total used is only 2 MB. Then why it is showing 20MB full. Please reply to solve my problem.

In messages - setting - other - change the settings to memory card from phone memory. Try the first time without formatting your unit. Worked for me. All the best.

The bestb thing to do is formatt your unit, and the MMC'

after you have formatted the MMC in you phone,
set you massage in setting>other>select MEMORY in USE' put in MMC in use. so all uyour massage will directly save in MMC even it has High mb/kbs...

Hi sir i have bought sandisk 1 gb memory card 2 years before . and problem is i set password for the card which i forget totally i tried many times .now when i was downloading some content from net through...

Hi
Some times it happens that you forgot the password of your memory card and you have lots of your important data in your phone.
So there are two types of methods for recovering the password of your memory card with the help of nokia phone.

For Nokia s60 1st and 2nd edition phones.
1. First Install FExplorer in your phone memory.
2. Got to drive C: , you will find a file called mmcstore
3. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.
4. At the end of the file you will find your password.

For Nokia S60 3rd Phones, Nokia N-Series and Nokia E-Series
There is almost no way yet known to hack the memory card password in case of these types of phone but there is a way to do it some of the s60 3rd edition phones and almost all the E-series phones.
The remote lock option in E-Series phone allows you to unlock your phone by sending a sms.
The only thing you have to do is to activate this feature by going to Tools ' Settings ' Security ' Phone and SIM ' Allow remote lock menu. The password of your memory card will be your remote lock message.
So you have to just send a sms containing your remote lock message that will automatically change your memory card password.

Hy... I have a Nokia N70 Music With 1 GB RS-MMC. Now, i have a problem with the memory.. If i operate some aplication with my N70, notification log : Not enough memory to perform operation, delete some...

Dude, your nokia phone operates its internal applications using the phone's memory and not the memory of the 1 GB RS-MMC. Your phone memory is full of datas. Empty your phone memory datas and transfer them to the memory card, and keep your phone memory free EVERYTIME!

N70 - Music player memory & Operator logo

Hi there,

The N70 only has 22MB of built-in memory, and all incoming bluetooth files go directly to the onboard memory (inbox) before you can copy or move them to the memory card. Try freeing up some of the system memory by using the "move to memory card" option and then try to get your song again. :)

Regarding the other issue you are having, the oplogo should be located at the location below, and is always displayed. If you want nothing displayed there, you can replace the image with a solid color of the background of your choice by editing in photoshop or similar program.

C:\system\apps\phones\oplogo\xxx_xx_xx.bmp

This is a 97x25 pixel file, and is named according to your Country Code, Network Code, and Subnet code. There may be several files located here, as they change when you 'roam' around, and you can edit any number of them to your liking.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions!
