Bottom refrigerator not cooling

The fridge model number id 242 QM, the freezer is cooling but the lower refrigerator is not cooling, wat can be the reason

The defroster timer, or the defrost element could be out. Also the blower motor in the freezer could be locked up. If you can hear the blower its likely the timer or the element.

Also theres a thermal cutout on some models that shuts off the element if the timer is stuck in defrost mode to keep the unit from catching on fire, usually its located at the top of the element to take into consideration the heat.

My Zanussi self-defrosting freezer forms ice in the bottom of the interior, making it hard to get the bottom tray out. It happens gradually over a week or two. Temperature checked with a thermometer is OK....

First, check the compressor fan. Make sure it is turning. If this fan is not working properly, the refrigerant will be be cooled adequately. This lowers the efficiency of the refrigerator and causes it to run more.

The fan is probably located in the back of the bottom of the refrigerator. It pulls air across the coils and blows the heat out the back of the unit.

If the fan is not turning, the fan motor will need to be replaced.
