Wow...is that a standard keyboard? I don't know that I've ever seen that accented e(maybe it;s an E machine virus that came through some disk you handled?)..just kidding..

you may need to remove that keyboard(using mouse control) from device manager in control panel, and then do a hardware scan to see if it picks it up properly..

How do I get the Euro symbol on an ASUS keyboard to operate as it is in tandem with the figure 4?

Whenever there is a symbol to the right of a key, using the Alt Gr key pressed down and then that key tapped, brings the relevant symbol up. Also works if you want an acute accent instead of going to character map, i.e. ?, ?

I can not change secondary keyboard functions back.

Try the following tips;
1. Press Fn key once, release it and type on a notepad or etc....
2. Press Fn + Numlock (press simultaneous as you press ctrl+c to copy) once and test the type again.
This key combination is to activate and deactivate function key (Fn).

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I cannot get apostrophes or question marks. Instead I get French accented letters. Can you help me

Press Ctrl+Shift at the same time. Toggles the French (blue) keys on & off. I found out after much tedious searching. Hope this helps you!

Cannot get apostrophes or question marks

I just figured this out. Hold down your left shift key, then press CTRL. It may take a couple of times for it to work, but it will eventually.
