The hot water intake was very slow, cold intake ok. Now both are very slow. Do the intake solenoids have a slow and fast position for spray rinse or fill? What is their operating voltage(s)

Nope..the pressure needs to be maintained..I'm assuming you've checked for blockage in the line and cleaned the intake filters, right?

Is it just the cold valve slow do you have a hot valve to swap it with to check the flow rate.
I think there 12volt valves,
The solenoids would be OK just the valve wont open all the way.
The solenoids do come off with a flat blade screwdriver under the solenoid.

My Fisher Paykel GWL 15 will only fill if Hot wash is selected. Should I call a service technician? Thanks Glenn

Try to swap the plugs and hoses to the hot /cold solenoids see if that works the hot valve with cold water if work you need to buy a cold valve.

Unable to wash using hot water -F & P Smart Drive 608 (GW608U)

Check that the valve behind the washer for the hot water is open, it will be labeled red and should indicate which way to turn to open it typically counterclockwise.

You are better off swapping the valves over in the machine until you can buy a replacement valve. I've done this for a month or so until I replaced the valve. Works as long as you only use a cold wash and your cold water is not too cold as to make the machine want to add some hot. If it does this then simply press start to clear the fault.

Fisher & Paykel Washine Machine is filling up hot and not cold?

As nice as these machines are, I've read bad things about Fisher & Paykel reliability. It sounds to me like you have a bad solenoid.

FYI, you should leave the water lines on (both hot and cold) all the time, no need to shut them off unless you're unhooking the machine to move it or work on it. The machine should control the temperature itself.

Fisher Paykel GWL11 Cold Water Not Flowing

you can swap the hot and cold valves over and see if this fixes the problem as it sound like your cold valve is faulty but not the hot valve.

Cheers

Water is not filling up.

turn off water
disconnect fill hose from tap
examine screen inside hose end for 'muck' blockage
clean screen
reconnect hose
test washer
if no fill
replace water solenoid valve

note: cold water valve fails first, it gets most use,
if only using cold water, you can simply swap the hot and cold hoses at the tap, and swap the hot and cold electrical connectors on the solenoid valves, the hot solenoid is no the cold one and the washer can be used, cold only, for about as long as it has operated thus far..

Limited water from cold solenoid

hi
if you select cold it should be only giving you cold water so the sensor should not be an issue , i would chang my hose over to the hot line and select hot ans see if that is ok if it is then it will be the solenoid you could try also swapping the hot and cold solenoid to see if that works
cheers grantreps
