Toshiba television I f you drop a television can it be repaired if the outside didn"t break just cracked the upper right corner???

you should replace your lcd it has already a dead pixels it is not fixable but it can be replace.

did u do a repair in recent days
by replacing the convergence ICs?

Hi, yes this screen will be fine, and compatable.

Either the convergence or cracked sautering. Just had my tv repaired but now I have a double blur in the upper left corner.

It is my guess that you have some pcb circuit traces that are cracked. Maybe near the back of the set near the input jacks.

It will cost more to repair than its worth

The repair isn't too complicated if you're comfortable working with a soldering iron. Sounds like one of the "guns" is shot. The chips that need replacing are attached to the heatsink on the convergence board. The reason for replacing both chips is if you're going to bother to take the board out and replace one bad chip, that is the best time to replace the other older chip. If not, the repair is expensive (between 250-400) depending on the repairman. Best of luck with your convergence problem.

YOU HAVE A CONVERGENCE PROBLEM IC'S WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE FACT THAT THE LINES DID NOT MOVE WHEN YOU TRIED TO ADJUST THEM CONFIRMS IT.

let a stinkt fart on the upper right corner of the TV and that should fix the problem.

You could replace it yourself. I had it done recently and the local repair shop charge $400 to do it (including cost of the chip).
