Re: Gestetner 2302z photocopier toner light stays on but...
The error code has got something to do with your fuser. Either the lamp is blown, the thermistor could just be dirty or the fuse has blown. These manuals are very old, do not know if it will be easy to get the manual.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

It's possible it could be the transfer cleaning unit, but it's more likely to be the fuser or the transfer belt itself. If the hot roller is old or dirty or the press roller isn't providing enough tension, all of the toner might not be getting fused to the paper.
If only one color were showing mottling, it would probably be the developer, but it's unlikely that all four developers went bad at the same time.
I believe that model is fairly old.... Dosen't the control pannel have a red light showing what door or cover is opened??? Try all the doors and covers and look in the last spot you pulled a paper jam from...
After replacing the toner cartridge you did remove the plastic strip that holds the toner in place?? If you did, on the control panel is a little sunken black button. Just take a pen or then object and hold the button down until the light goes off. This can take up to ten minutes to go off.
c-32 is a scan reverse problem. there is no c-36 code. If you mean c-63 it is a fuser thermistor problem. Lawrence. I have a service manual for the Mita 1435 which is the same machine. The scan reverse code could be dirty rails where the optical assembly. ( the light that goes back and fourth) Clean and lube the rails.
