My call display often does not work properly... either not showing a name and number until the call is answered or only showing the number and the name is cut off. This applies to numbers that are stored as my contacts as well. Very frustrating!! Any help would be much appreciated

The problem usually from flexyble cable as a connector between main board and front board (LCD,Camera,joy stick,etc.to fix the problem are change your flexyble cable or the fast way change your front board because its include flexyble cable.

yeah it's because i think you have the "name display" feature offered by Fido/Rogers i got the same problem lol.
Call them up and tell them to take it off or change your package.
a1200 doesn't support the "Name Display" feature.
