Hi,

My Garmin Street Pilot C510 doesn't even turn on? It just doesn't boot. I tried to switch it on by pressing the button for few seconds, but even then it doesn't turn on.Any Advice?

- Nothing happens. If I plug it into USB of computer, even then it doesn't turn on, so thats why computer doesn't even recognize it.

Is it charging? What happens if you plug it into the computer to charge? Does the screen come on at all?

-   I have same problem with eTrex Vista Cx unit... During a navigation to save battery power, I temporarily powered unit off. Now it will not turn back on. I tried fresh batteries as well as power adapter and direct connection to computer and still nothing but a blank dark screen. Unit was never dropped and not exposed to any abnormal environmental conditions. I have no idea what could be the cause of this. I also tried several different resets to no avail with and without micro SD card. Please advise!-   Guest

It sounds like you may have a dead battery. Your best bet would be to contact Garmin about a replacement.
