I have to unplug wait several to 20 minutes then plug back in then it will work fine for 5 to 20 minutes then I will have to do again. Is it cost effective to fix or should I upgrade?

Wow, same problem I'm having... just started few days ago. First, it would just go to 'snow'...sometimes the color was funny. either way, turning off and then on would fix it. Now it 'pops' and turns itself off. Something is preventing it from staying on more than 1 sec now. The voltage from the wall plug is 123V..maybe it's too much for this tv?

Samsung TV shutting off by itself and relays clicking

If you don't know what you're doing, don't open it up to fix it!
There are HAZARDOUS voltages on the power supply board EVEN WITH THE TV UNPLUGGED!!! The capacitors can hold a charge for several weeks!

Clicking noise can be coming from bad capacitors on the power supply board.

It's usually easier to just replace the power supply board.

I turn my computer on and comes up with toshiba and AMD turion 64 symbol and option f2 of f12. I push f2 and please wait comes on however it's been like this for several hours. What can I try?

Shut it off and unplug it, remove the battery and wait 20 minutes. Then replace the battery, plug it in and start it up, let me know if this works.

When turned on box will only show menus and will not play TV or recordings. It gives the impression that it is trying to play in the background

i have ATT Uverse. Any problems I have had are usually solved by resetting the box. Press and hold the power button on the box until it shuts off-usually 5 seconds or so. Wait 3-5 minutes and power on. It takes a bit to reset. If that doesn't work, unplug from power supply completely. Wait 3-5 minutes. Plug back in and power on. If that still doesn't help, call ATT. The can do remote reboot, but, you will lose all recordings stored.

Unfortunately your TV will need to be serviced. You may take the unit back to the retailer of purchase to arrange for repairs.

MIni fridge stopped working/cool.

I got mine in 2005. It stopped working 4 or 5 weeks ago. It made a clicking noise and the compressor was very hot. Compressor is under warranty but appliance repair shop wanted $125 to install it and another $75 to charge it with freon. I saw a posting somewhere else that said it was a relay switch. I ordered one from RepairClinic.com for $24.00 incl. shipping, put it in and it's working now. There's a black plastic housing on the left side of the compressor. Just unscrew that, pop the cover off (that was a little tricky) and plug in the new part. Maybe I'll get another 3 years out of it.

When this same thing happened to me, I unplugged the Wii power supply from the wall (not just from the back of the Wii) and let it sit unplugged for about 10 minutes. When I plugged it back in, everything was fine.
