I inherited the 7290 from my sales man dad, after my Pearl trackball broke. He has over 6k addresses in there. Is there anyway to delete more than one at a time? Can't find anyway to do. Help would be very appreciated!!

try searching the contact list with letter 'a' then click on the first contact then select 'delete lookup' then repeat this all through the alphabet and it should clear the contacts list.

I can give you the full reset procedure for the device but this will erase all data on the device but at least that way you are able to really make the device yours and start over on it .This method is sure to work and is the only other way that I can find of deleting mass data
1.In the handheld options, click Security.
2.Click the trackwheel.
3.Click Wipe Handheld.
4.Click Continue.
5.Type blackberry.
