Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
2 red lights came on and stayed on. The system works and has not over-heated. They are the 2 right quadrant lights, when upright. They do not flash. Any thoughts??
These lights are telling you your system is overheating but not overheated to the point of hardware failure. This is like level 2 out of 4 levels of overheating. Turn your xbox off and either go buy a $20.00 fan from gamestop or trade it in before it breaks permanently. You can also give it better ventilation or air criculations but it doesn't really help in the end. These things are engineered to break in a year and a half.

Found a great repair guide that also has follow along videos. It was an easy fix, and my xbox has been working now for 3 months with this fix. I've also fixed several other XBox 360s using the same guide.
Now I'm using the guide to buy broken xbox 360s off of ebay and sell them back for big profits.
