Speakers making vibration noise and slowing computer down
My Logitech speakers work excellent but then all of a sudden they seem to start making a funny vibration noise and then it slows my computer down. Any videos or games it seems to slow right down and then it goes back to normal. Can't figure it out?

Hi Haley, I also enjoy good Music and excellent sound from my speakers that i have and know what you going through. There is two problems that i see here. One is that your bass speakers is dying on you from the excess bass that has been exerted throught it or have you tried lowering the adjusting bass from the contol panel? Try adjusting the bass and if that doesnt work aleast you've identified your problem. Thanks Haley for using Fixya.Good Luck.
Since this set is hardwired together and the other speakers are working, the only easy fix would be the subwoofer got turned down on the remote volume control. Anything more would mean its broken. If its under warranty take it back. If its not and you know somebody capable, you might have them check for the obvious, bad solder connections on speaker, or and open voice coil on the speaker it self.
As you talk I remember a spair speakers I have a long time ago, brand Creative 5600, has a bad resistor inside the speaker SB, or board, you also check for bad cable at the back or static.
another thing is your volume control, sometimes if you down a few notch you may ...not feel the hit or beep, but check things first.
