I just installed Windows 7 and my HP Photosmart C4100 series printer/copier/scanner doesn't work on the new Windows. What do I need to do to to update my photosmart.

Access the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.hp.com
Enter 'C4100' and do a search.
Select the Operating System (Windows 7?) used on your new computer.
Download the device-driver.
Install it.
Print a test-page.
Not sure what happen to this but I had the same problem. What you need to do is highlight each one except the first HP Photosmart 4100 series, and delete all the other ones.
So delete the following 6 printers.
Send to One Note 2007 Microsoft XPS Document Writer HP Photosmart C4100 series (copy 1) HP --------------------" ------" (copy 2) HP....................................(copy 3) AND HP ..................................(copy 4) which is the only one that works!!!!!
Now the one that is left should be the default. Do a test page or print something out to make sure.
