Are there any sites out there where you can get an unlock code for cell phones for free? I just bought an LG Shine and the guy told me it was unlocked, but it's not. Please help!!

    • I live in the USA , purchased the LG KE970 via EBay and it's locked. I need it to work with AT&T. When I took it to the local store they claim its an "LG" version rather than an AT&T version due to the scroll button instead of the joy stick type button on the phone?? Is there software available for free to unlock it? I have no idea what network it is locked to.... because there is nothing in the phone that defines its network. Help me please.

locking system is inbuilt in phone.
and no one other than service center change the lock code
if u want to unlock it then download its software from google and then by connecting through cable u can solve ur problem

You can get your unlock code for SAMSUNG Z540, from this website, http://www.unlock-direct.com/phones.php?markid=6 they will send the code with the steps to introduce it.

and then type in the code you got from the att customer service.
