Question about PC Desktops

I would like to save others from getting a ticket as I did. It was at the corner pf Riverside and Orlando Ave. Roseville. he ticket was for turning against a red light. hey have the turn marked wrong for people to know that they should stop- there. There is a turn lane and it has an arrow pointing around the turn. There is a light several feet off to the side, and a sign thirty feet or so back from the corner saying turn on red light only, but they have no white stop line or no turn on red light only in the lane. I went back to take pictures of the area, and the few minutes it took me two other cars turned against the light as I did, so I know it is not just me. I don't mind paying for something I dids wrong, but I don't feel I did wrong the way they have it marked. Virgil L. Griffith 6504 Beamer Way Rio Linda, Ca. Ph # 916-992-0758

Hey..maybe he's wanting us to fixya the signal controls...go figure, eh? I'd say this postig has all the earmarks of a parody in the making..so..here's my solution for this guy.

Let's see..next time, buddy, you should come from the opposite direction, with the sun in your eyes, then you can testify that you never saw the light(which would mean you're a good candidate for a come to ***** meeting, right)?

ok..who's next..can't wait to see what the ratings are for this one.

How to get power saving off

Click on "Start" in the lower left-hand corner of the desktop. From within this menu, select "Control Panel." Double-click on "Power Options" located inside the Control Panel. Turn off the power saver plan by selecting one of the other power plans listed inside the Power Options dialog box. If there are no other power plans available, you can create one. Create an alternate power plan by clicking on the "Create a power plan" link on the left-hand side of the Power Options dialog box. This will open another window allowing you to create a power plan of your own. Select the type of power plan that you want, and enter a customized name for this plan. Once you have done this, click "Next." You will then be able to edit the plan's advanced settings to include how it handles the display, sleep mode and brightness settings under the battery and when it is plugged in.

Slowwwww

Press ctr-alt-delete, Click the performance tab, and look at the PF usage. If it stays above about 3/4, then you are using too much memory/ Also, look under the total in commit charge. If it more than the total under physical memory, then you are using more physical memory than you have. In this case, you need more ram. How many icons are in the sys tray on the bottom right hand corner? You can turn those off by going to start, run, type msconfig, startup, and disable all. Then restart. If you are still having error messages in IE, try reinstalling it. You can also download firefox and run it.

Toshiiba laptop goes into safe mode before accessing Vista

Was somebody doing work on this computer before the problem happened?

Try this:

Hold down the key with the Windows Flag and press R
A window will open, type msconfig and then click OK
A window label System Configuration will open
Click on the Boot tab.
Is there a check mark next to Safe Boot?
If so, remove it and click ok
After you reboot you will get a window that says "You ave used the system configuration ..."
there is a box in the lower left hand corner that you have to check before closing this window.
If you do not, it will display every time you boot up.
