Look in the manual for the proper procedure to reset the password. Normally, there is a "reset" button on the back of the unit that you must press and hold for a set amount of time, perhaps 30 seconds. After the router is reset, the password will be the generic one supplied with it. If you do not know what the generic password is, you can go to google and search for "router passwords," then find your router in the list.
