Using ink cartridges faster than normal.

The picture shows the cleaning resovier. Each time the cartridge pass buy the print head is wiped and residue is deposited there. Looks messy and it is. As for the cartridge usage, they may be an economy selection in your software that may reduce ink consumption. Of course if you are printing in color versus black and white the consumption increases substantially.

How do I take get the money to come out of the undeposited funds

Which accounting package are you using? The Avanquest Computer Utilities doesn't have an accounting section to my knowledge. If you have Quickbooks, go to Banking (in the Menu Bar) and select Make Deposits. There will be a button to see the funds in the Undeposited list. Check each one and select the account into which the deposits are going. Then click Deposit (or whatever the button is for your version). Then Save, if needed.

I've used Quickbooks 2009-2012. There have been slight differences between the versions.

I hope this helps. Please give more information so that I can double-check the titles/buttons for your accounting software.

Sure the ink in the cartridge is clogged and needs to be cleaned. Follow the steps below

1. Open the cartridge access door on your right side of the printer.
2. Remove the cartridge from printer
3. Take a tissue paper with a little water
4. Wipe the nozzles of the cartridge gently
5. Wipe again with an dry tissue and you will find ink deposit on the dry tissue
6. Install back the cartridge in printer
7. Use cartridge cleaning option in the printer.

You are done.

Try to print and it comes out blank. Have replaced both ink cartridges.

This sounds to me like either there is still a plastic cover over the bottom of the cartridges, or more likely that the print heads which are part of the printer, need cleaning as dried ink can quite often clog them up. Check for any ink deposits around the bottom of where the cartridges go in, also, dab the cartridges onto a piece of tissue paper very lightly to check that the ink is coming out.

Changed from cartridges to cont. ink system. Now

Hi Dave,

Chances are the problem is that you haven't removed the travel plugs that allow air into the reservoir part of your CIS. This is vital because the air needs to replace ink used up in printing and if it can't do this the air creates something of a vacuum that holds back the ink.

Also worth checking that you haven't got any crimped (folded) tubing or clamps that are still engaged that shouldn't be.

Hope that helps..

Print Cartridge stuck

Look at the pad on the right side of the printer under where the ink cartridges are loaded. It may have ink deposits built up into lumps which interfere with the movement of the cartidges on the rod. Clean the deposits by scraping the lumps and removing all debris. This worked for me.

Ink blots deposit onto feed rollers which in turn transfers to all new prints

Most likely you have a leaking print cartridge (toner cartridge). Does it have the same problem if you use the Manual Bypass tray?

It could also be a worn fuser sleeve that is causing the print defect...the fuser would need replaced in that case.

Cleaning of cartridges

try 70% of isopropyl alcohol on a tissue paper. wipe it gently. see to it that some or the ink deposit would melt to it! if it does, try to submerge only the head part of the cartridge!
