There is something down in the way -
remove the paper
turn up side down
shake
when the item falls out -
restart

Testimonial: "Thanks it was an top off a pen that came out when I shook it. The printer is working again. Thanks again, J.Johnson"

Yes. You should clean your printer every week.

Get a can of air from Staples or Best Buys and take your toner or ink cartridge out and blow out the dust.

Take a qtip and dampen it with rubbing alcohol, just a tiny tiny drop. And rub it on your rollers. Follow with a dry qtip and wipe off the same area.

Try printing again and see if that works. If not, and it still jams, you may have bad rollers. Rollers can be expensive it would depend on where the paper is fed from, the paper tray or the top feeder.

Also, feed the paper in properly.

Same problem. Turned out to be a small nut lodged in the array of small rollers, just behind the ink cartridges. Managed to lift the roller bar at one corner, and shake it out.

Lexmark E 342 n paper jam with error code 201

According to the LexMark support page, this is most often related to not getting the print cartridge assembly properly positioned. (Left and right sides not fully in place). Another possible source is paper in the output tray when using the double sided printing feature. (This leads to grabbing an extra sheet when it tries to retrieve the paper to print the second side. Paper stock thickness will change the number of pages printed before this happens.).

I hope this helps.

Canon ip2600 keeps grabbing the paper wrong, only grabs it on the right side so it feeds in crooked and jams.

you need to see the left roller and determine if broken or needs cleaned. to clean use an eraser, thats the best way. if broken i suggest new printer. have a great day and please rate bama46, thanks.

Crooked Paper

Are ou fanning the paper before you put it in and cloing the paper guides tightly against the end and the side of the paper? Also, I would look for a tiny jam that is obstructing the paper.

Paper sensor, I think

check the cable first..and do a test page, if you can without the printer connected to anything.

then, if that all works, we can look elsewhere, no?

Paper wont feed propaly

Something probably fell into that tiny pinch of an area where the paper goes. I have found everything from a Tostito crumb to a chip of drywall blocking my paper feed. Flip your machine over, poke it if you have to, and shake it around til the little bugger falls out.
