Hey there, Shouldn't be too difficult. Just two nuts to remove. If unsure about reconnecting wiring, draw yourself a little diagram clearly indicating the colours. Let me know if you are having further problems.

straight forward to do. undo the screws to the back panel of the oven.
once remove down at the bottom of the oven you will see where the heater element comes through . there are to main feed wires that are pushed on and one earth wire. pulls these off as they are just push fit.
the element its self is a flat plate with 2 self tapper screws undo these and the element will then come out of the front of the oven. you have to lift it on a slight angle so the feet of the element will come through . hope this helps
1. I CANT FIND EMAILS SENT TO MY INBOX AFTER FEW MINUTES OR HOURS OF READING THEM ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT EMAILS. BUT I WILL ONLY FIND THE REPLIES I SENT ON THE SUBJECT MATTER BUT NOT THE ORIGINAL EMAIL WHICH THE PERSON SENT TO ME MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO FOLLOW UP ON ISSUES. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON NOW FOR ABOUT FIVE MONTHS AND I THOUGHT IT WILL JUST READJUST ITSELF TO THE DEFAULT SETTING. I AM UNABLE TO WORK EFFECTIVELY IN THE OFFICE AS I CANNOT REFERENCE MAILS SENT TO ME AGAIN TO KEEP A LINE OF CONVERSATION GOING. COULD IT BE THAT THERE IS A BUG / PHISHING STUFF SET ON MY ACCOUNT OR THERE IS SOMETHING I MAY HAVE ENABLED OR DISABLED UNCONSCIOUSLY THAT IS CAUSING THIS
Usually fairly straight forward. Remove the blown element being careful not to loose the wires into the void behind the grill. Insert new element making sure the orientation and wires are conected as the original was.
Is The small amount of heat you are getting coming from the bottom element in the top oven or is half the top Grill element working. To start with you have a double grill element and either the whole element has gone or just half the element. This is controlled by a selector switch which could be at fault or the Thermostat that controls the temperature.
Generally, grill elements have only two connections and they go to the main power switch controlling the oven. Usually, there is a diagram pasted on the rear panel of ovens or just inside the control panel cover. If you think the element is bad, remove it and test it with an ohm meter. If it is 'open' replace it. If it is not physically damaged or shows an ohm reading, it is likely good.
If the question is the connections, cut the power and visually inspect then trace the switch with the diagram. Look for corroded contacts where the element is plugged in. If the unit uses a relay...electronics...those may and do fail. Sometimes, you can get a similar replacement unit without getting a circuit board or find a rebuilder.
How easy is it to fit a new grill element. The element on the left hand side of the grill is not working so I need to replace this. I'm just wondering if this is easy to do myself or do I need an electrician?
