your profile may corrupt

if your laptop login with temp profile

1 . backup your data from your user profile folder

xp : c:\documents and settings\ YOUR USER NAME
win 7 or 8 : c:\users\YOUR USER NAME


if not login in temp profile login in safe mode

after backup your data

create a new administrator user and delete old user

you will able to remove Acer BIOS passwords by simply opening your notebook and removing the CMOS battery for 30 minutes.

Once your BIOS password is removed, you will need to press the key during POST (Power On Self Test) to enter the Acer BIOS setup.

There is no such thing! If the bios is locked it is because a PW was written to it They come without passwording being set. The only way to remove it is the open the RAM cover and find the two pins and short them out then close the cover and reboot.

My notebook cames with only the User's Quick Guide in a printed format. But you can find this manual and the User's Guide, in a digital format, in the notebook's HD drive. Click "Start > All Programs > AcerSystem" and you will find both manuals. You can print them if you want. Also, you can find some documentation for this product in the Acer Service&Support Site.
