UNFREEZING THE PLAYER

@ _ @ thats just it you can't turn on the thing to delete them, even your computer won't do it. FAIL....

The best thing to do wuld be to first, back up all of the stuff on your ipod, and the restore it back to factory setting through itunes. After that, you can put all of your files back on the ipod and it should function normally.

delete the song,then put it back on the MP3 Player!!!!!!See if that works!!!!!!(i hope that it works!!!)

Please try to reset the player and see whether it helps.
This could be done by inserting a paper clip into the reset hole and press and hold for about 20 seconds. This should unfreeze the player.

My Lyra does the exact same thing...what i do is i pull the batteries out for a second and the unfreezes the device...then i delete the song that froze my device....then i reload the song..if it freezes again delete that song from ur computer them find a better music provider because most likely the song was corruped

ok. I have the same device. (White). Can you connect it to your computer?

I read some of the other post and found that I needed to use Windows Media Player. I had the Rhapsody program on my computer as well. Once I downloaded Windows Media Player I was able to access the files and add and delete songs.

My husband is not a big fan of Media Player. Lets hope I haven't done anything that he will have to fix. :)

I had this problem once. I unscrewed the back with an eye glasses screwdriver, took out the battery and replaced it and that took care of it.

If this happens, all you need to do, is refresh your whole mp3 player.

Try reseting it when this happens. Just hold the Power ON/OFF button for 15 sec or so. If you have already done this, and it did not work, then may the force be with you and good luck.
