Is there an online pdf user manual available for MGI PS Platinum Ver. 4.0?

I just figured out HOW to make Photosuite 4 work in Vista. I have the Home Premium version. I tried twice to install it, but it hung at 99% install. Then, I tried again, and found that if I changed the color to 16 bit from 32, and the resolution to a minimum of 800 x 600 (have it at 1024 x 768) it should work. Then it loaded when I put the disc back in. So try these things and see what happens. I only give up after every rock has been turned over, and the fat lady sings.

that's for the install part.after installation you may use its help;also almost all effects are common effects and you should find a lot about them using google. If you have that free copy coming with a cam try www.roxio.com for support . Your product was last product of MGI .(2001)

Just today I was able to get PhotoSuite 4 to work in Windows 8 (64 BIT). PhotoSuite 4 (P.S. 4) is dependent upon Internet Explorer 5 (I.E. 5) browser for its content/software to work. The original P.S. 4 CD has
I.E. 5 installer, I tried to install and the install quit with a check box to force install of all components. Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 8 was not affected in any way, that's how I got back here anyway.
I have read ton's of suggestions and one mentioned I.E. Browser dependency and walla it was the answer that took me ten minutes to get it up and running.

There are numbers of user guides available online, but I don't think a Hard copy is available everywhere, and since you didn't mention any details about your location or etc..etc.. I can't give you any tips about it. If you wish you to download, here are the links....

I want to use my Photosuite 4 Platinum with Vista. Works great on xp but not Vista. How can I can fix it so it will work on Vista?

This problem is all about Internet Explorer 10. W7 has a simple solution. Just go to 'Installed updates' and remove IE10. Voila! MGI 4 works just fine.

W8 is another whole ball of wax. It comes with IE10, so until someone gives us a registry edit to fix this problem then W8 users are SOL.
