Inserting RAM in a Sony Vaio VGN-FE31H

I have a sony vaio VGN-FE31H laptop and its being slow so i am trying to boost up the RAM i have ordered the correct RAM but the walk through guides say one ***** on the base should loosen the keyboard but there are 4 possibles anyideas?

    yeah i just been searching the depths of sony's website finally found my laptop and apparently its not even under the keyboard its underneath and had its own little cover so its easy to remove thanks anyway

Laptops have screws in the bottom of the laptops, but makesure you know what screws came out of whick ***** holes. Unscrew the ones yu need to undo the keyboard, put the ram in & ***** tem back in..

Where is the Sony Vaio VGN B3VP Ram slot?

You may remove the RAM Modules by referring to the Service Manual.

got to www.crucial.com and either run their system scan tool or input your model. Our initial lookup shows the max for your system at 2048MB (2GB)

call sony europe first and verify if you can still upgrade the memory/RAM..

make sure that you use the same type of RAM before you upgrade it..

Its seems that my Vaio VGN-FJ170 is been draging RAM. really slow


1-Try installing graphic-cards driver from the vendors home site!
2-Install a Codec pack like k-lite
3-use VLC-player
4-If yor graphics use shared memory , it could be a result of memory module failure.

No the Sony VAIO VGN-250E/B has a maximum capacity of 2GB DDR2 RAM.
