I would guess that you need a new bulb. Many of these tail lights actually have two filaments inside them, one that is used for a dimmer light (running light) and one that is used for a brighter light like (brake light, turn signal). The easiest thing to try (and probably the cheapest) would be to buy a replacement bulb and change it. Most places that sell automotive light bulbs will have a large catalog where you look up the make model and year of the car you need a light for and it will tell you which replacement bulb you will need. Then look in your cars manual to see how you access and replace the bulb.

It sounds like a head gasket problem. A Radiator pressure test may reveal that there is a bridge between water and oil. This is not a guarantee because escaping oil is pressurized from 40-65PSI and the water system is in the neighborhood of 16-18PSI so there is significantly more oil pressure than water pressure. In short, it is easier for the oil to get to the water.

Another test would be to remove the Glowplugs. You may only have one bad side and if the antifreeze blows out the holes for the Glowplugs, you may only need to remove 1 head.

Check your dipstick. See if oil is mixed with water in crankcase.. Check oil level to explain action of pressure gauge.

On most Ford Trucks and SUV's there will be two philips head screws on the exterior of the light. Undo these two screws and the whole lens will pull outwards. Unplug the bulb and unscrew the retainer - reverse instructions with new bulb in place.
On a newer Ford, there may be an access panel inside the cargo area. If there is, you will gain access to the bulb and retainer from there.

you should press hint by pressing the R button and where ever that red thing stops you should find the light bulb or door knob and remember that some of the other items you have already collected before are needed to get the other objects like the light bulb.

not sure which top tail light you mean? do you wish to replace bulb or actual lamp on the rear screen? this is the high level brake light ! OR do you wish to replace bulb in one of the rear tail lamps offside/nearside ? which ever ? the h/level brake light bulb is accessable for bulb from the rear panel on hatch behind lamp bulb is 16 watt capless push in type

you should not have t remove the headlight assembly to replace the bulb access should be under the hood. as for the moisture the bulb holder may be damaged or not fitted properly

hiya to access the bulb on high level b/light with hatch back up you will see the shroud/cover surrounding the lamp ? this cover is a clip on to remove it just hold the cover on both side/ends and pull/slide the cover down keeping against the screen it is easy ! and you will see the clips and where they clip on? the actual bulb is removed by twist anti clockwise the socket and pull out of lamp the bulb is a larger version of the push in type bulbs as fitted to small sidelamp front bulbs on most cars be sure to replace the bulb with correct type ie 16 WATT refit new bulb and check operation before you refit cover/shroud ps now would be a good time to clean rear screen area not accessable with the cover in position ?? best wishes
