After fiddling with my Orange SPV M600 I may have deleted some key files by mistake. The phone works but the loud speaker does not function and I can not connect viablue-tooth. At first I thought it was a faulty earphone socket but now I feel pretty sure its the deleted files. So i think I need to flash the ROM or a ROM upgrade.
Hi. My son just had exactly the same problem from when he first started to use the handsfree / headphones socket. It seems that there was a fault in the socket. The phone believed that the jack was in the socket even when it was not, so it disconnected the phone's speaker and microphone. We kind of got a clue as the handsfree jack did not give a very convincing 'click' when it was put in or out. The solution was - he prayed hard and then repeatedly pulled the jack plug in and out rapidly until it the socket began to 'click' properly. He then took the jack out and it has been working fine ever since. Hope this helps. Chris

Have you tried doing a hard rest.
Here is the procedure; Caution if you perform a full reset, your phone returns to its default settings and looses all information that is saved on phone (Like contacts, messages, emails, mms etc). Hard reset:Press and hold the Left SOFT KEY and Right SOFT KEY, and at the same time, use the stylus to press the RESET button at the bottom of your device. You will be presented with a menu saying 'press R to reset, X to exit', if you press R Your device will be set back to factory default settings. (The L/R soft keys are the "- -" keys just above the start and OK buttons)
This is exactly what has happened to mine, does yours still work with the earphone in? It was suggested that I need to flash the rom as my problem occured after I had been making some space in the windows folder. Big mistake, anyway its either a broken speaker, plug or the rom. if you find another solution let me know.
