Question about IBM MicroPortable IL1210 Multimedia Projector
Worked! The safety switch is kind of hidden and enabled usually when the cover is placed. Be careful though because it is metallic and conducts the electricity!

If you open the front slider, this projector has a small safety switch on the upper-left side (front view). This switch fails often, so try to maintain pushed this switch with a screwdriver (be careful not to touch metallic part in the screwdriver!) and check if lamp goes on. If it works, then close the front slider again until the slider pushes the switch.
