Evolution X should have a menu item saying "Dashboard" or similar. There's your original main screen.

2. On the main menu go down to "settings"

3. On the Settings menu scroll untill you reach system info

4. Select it

5. Once you are there at the moving disclaimer push in the following

My x box wont read any discs

Greetings,

Please go through the Website link mentioned below.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816779

Note 1 If a saved game file is corrupted, it can produce a disc error message in that game, particularly when the game starts. You can resolve this issue by deleting all saved game files for the affected game from the Xbox hard disk. This method is effective approximately twenty-five percent of the time. If you experience this disc error message with more than two games, this procedure will likely not resolve the issue.

Note 2 Do not use laser lens cleaners, or similar products. Microsoft has not determined the effectiveness of these products or the affect they may have on the Xbox system. Microsoft cannot promote or recommend any type of laser lens cleaner for use with the Xbox system.
----------------------------------
1. Clean the disc and examine the disc for flaws or scratches
Hold disc by the edges without touching the surface with your fingers.
2. Clean the disc with a soft, clean cloth, lightly wiping from the center outwards.
3. Do not use solvents or chemicals to clean the disc.
4. After you clean the disc, examine the disc for any scratches or defects. If you find any defects that are not caused by typical wear and tear, return the disc to the retailer if it still under warranty.
---------------------
Copy and delete any saved games from your hard disk
Note To copy saved games, you must have an Xbox Memory Unit (MU). You must copy saved games to a MU before you delete them.
1. Start your Xbox console with no disc in the disc tray. The Xbox Dashboard appears.
2. On the Main Menu screen, press the directional pad (D-pad) up or down to select Memory, and then press the A button.
3. On the Memory screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Xbox Hard Disk, and then press the A button.
4. On the Xbox Hard Disk screen, press the D-pad up or down to select the game title you want, and then press the D-pad left or right to select the saved game you want to copy.
5. On the Copy/Delete screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Copy, and then press the A button.
6. On the Copy To screen, press the D-pad up or down to select the memory unit you want to copy to, and then press the A button.
7.Press the B button to return to the games list on the Xbox Hard Disk screen.
8. On the Xbox Hard Disk screen, press the D-pad up or down to select the game title you just copied a saved game from, and then press the A button.
9. On the Copy/Delete screen, press the D-pad up or down to select Delete, and then press the A button. You receive the following message:

Are you sure you want to permanently delete this saved game?
10. Press the D-pad left or right to select Yes.
11. Repeat these steps for each saved game on the Xbox hard disk. If you have many saved games but you can remember when you started to receive the disc error message, you can just delete the saved game files that you created after that time.

Please let me know if you have any issues.
Regards,

Any game i play disk arcade or demos xbox freezes

Try the following:
  1. Hold disc by the edges without touching the surface with your fingers. Clean the disc with a soft cloth, lightly wiping from the center outwards. Do not use solvents or chemicals to clean the disc. Examine the disc for any visible signs of damage.
  2. Verify whether the Xbox console clock is set correctly.
    • Turn on the Xbox console without a disc in the drive.
    • Press the directional pad up or down to select Main Menu, and then press A.
    • Press the directional pad up or down to select Settings, and then press A.
    • Press the directional pad up or down to select Clock, and then press A.
You can see the date and time from this screen. Correct the date and time as neccessary.

  3. Try to play the game again. If this does not work, you can try to clear the game cache on the Xbox hard disk. If you have a Xbox Memory Unit available, copy the game cache for this game from the Xbox hard disk to a memory unit:
    1. Insert a memory unit into a controller connected to your Xbox console.
    2. Open the disc tray and remove any disc, if present.
    3. Close the disc tray and re-start your Xbox console.
    4. Select Memory from the main Xbox Dashboard, and then press the A button.
    5. Select Xbox Hard Disk, and then press the A button.
    6. Locate and select the game you want to back up in the list of games.
    7. Select the appropriate save game icon. The Save game icons are located to the right of the game icon. Each save game is identified with a name, date, time, and size.
    8. Press the A button to display the Copy/Delete menu for the save game.

Note: If Copy is not available, you have not chosen a save game file.
    9. Select Save, and then press the A button.
    10. Press the A button again to save to the appropriate memory unit.
    11. As soon as the copy is complete, press the B button to return to the list of save games.
    12. Repeat these steps as needed to back up your other saved games for this game.
If you do not have a memory unit, deleting the game cache removes your progress in the game, high scores, and other information. To find the game cache, follow these steps:
    1. Open the disc tray and remove the any disk, if present.
    2. Close the disc tray and re-start your Xbox console.
    3. Select the Memory option from the Dashboard.
    4. Select the Xbox Hard Disk.
    5. Locate and select the game in the list of games.
  4. Select the large game icon to the left of the list and press the A button.
  5. Press the Abutton again to delete the game cache file.
Note: Delete should be the only available option. If Copy is available, you have chosen a game save file and not the game cache file. Press the B button to return to the list, and then select the leftmost icon.
  6. Select Yes to permanently delete the game cache, and then press the A button.
  7. Confirm that the icon is no longer listed, and then re-start your Xbox console.
  8. Insert the game disc, and then either load your latest saved game from the memory unit, or play the game from the beginning.

Xbox 360 wont load to main menu. No red ring.

This is the problem with the GPU, Just fixed on the other day with the same problem. best way to fix it is with a heatgun and an xbox360 repair kit. The same kit for fixing the 3 red lights and E74 problems.

You can get the kit here.

Xbox menu

reload your bios and that should help your box. Also try a quick tap to the power or eject button. This might reset your box manually.

Ps3 menu screen has gone red.

Seeing as you can pull up menu and data screens i would say the problem lies in the DVD drive itself. I once bought an Xbox and did exactly the same thing. My suggestion would be to locate your reciept and return your ps before the warranty is void. They will either replace or repair the product but you may have to pay frieght costs. If u have lost receipt see an authorized technition.

GAME NOT PLAYING

There could now be a problem with your HD, check 'memory' in the system blades, if your games are still there then this would indicate some sort of communication problem between the HD and console however, if you find your games are not there, I would say that Microsoft have somehow cleared your HD. If your game saves are not there it would be a good idea to contact Microsoft again and explain the new situation. I'm sorry if this is not much help to but I am unsure myself as to what could actually be causing the problem. Please rate if it is at all helpful, thanks.
