How can i fix my cam i have a Fuji fine pix F10....where it reads card error and when i do formatting my cam it does not work then it reads card not initialized what is it means?is my camera hd malfunctioned or my memory card.....is it ther another hope to fix this? please answer me....URGENT..

Transfer or delete the pictures via a card reader. Put the card back into the camera and format the memory card. If the memory card doesn't work properly after this action, it is probably faulty.

just try removing the memory card and at the side you'll see a tiny switch,slide this in the opsite direction to where it is now and that should work. its a locking system on the memory card, it sometimes gets moved when we remove the card form the camers or put it in a michine to get pics. hope that works.

Try formatting the card with the cam you want to use. They could be different formats between the two manufacturers or models.Keep one card for one cam and one for the other. This should solve your problem.

If you plug your camera into your computer again and click Start > My Computer. Your camera should be listed under the devices there.
Double click to view what is inside your camera. You will have to browse to a folder in your camera with a name like DCIM (I can not be exact here since it can vary.)
Select and delete all the images you find on the device.
The problem here is that when you downloaded the photographs from the camera to the computer, you did not check the option to remove the downloaded photographs from the camera, freeing up the space for more new photographs.

Olympus cards don't always work in Fuji cameras. Maybe not at all in older Fuji's.
You could try and update the firm ware in your camera and see if that does anything (if it's available on the Fuji website) Go to the service and support section on the web site and you may be lucky

The D-560 will not accept any card bigger than 512 mb. No firmware update is available.

format the card through the set-up menu.

try formatting the disk in windows or via the menu on the camera
may be a dud memory card - they are known to have a short life
