Look, if you want to use an espresso machine in a sem- commercial way, I would strongly suggest you look for a second- hand 1- group commercial machine.
These machines have a copper or stainless steel boiler, and run under pressure all the time. They have a motor- driven pump and indirectly heat the coffee water. Steam is always available for milk frothing, and they do a superior job of this. You also have a source of plain boiled water for other purposes (tea, Bonox or whatever). They are very hardy.
You shouldn't need to pay too much.

How do u prime the pump for saeco talea giro plus expresso machine

Should be just a matter of switching the machine off, if it doesn't prime then switch off, leave a few minutes and try again *obviously making sure there's water in the tank....

The in formation on this page is for use of technicians and experienced persons. All others do so at their own risk.

Traditional Home Espresso Machines Have the Following Parts:
1. A brass or aluminum boiler (16 to 40 oz. capacity).
2. A boiler outlet valve to help increase the pressure of water, before it is pumped through coffee grounds.
3. An oscillating pump with or without external thermostat.
4. A steam valve with a knob to open & close steam/hot water outlet.
5. Thermostat to limit temperature of water or steam.
Limit for espresso water temperature: 90°C to 98°C
Limit for steam temperature: between 127°C to 152°C.
6. A thermofuse to shut power supply when temperature in the boiler exceeds the higher limit (usually 185°C).
7. Solenoid valve (selected Gaggia models only).
8. A filter cup holder handle to place ground coffee for extraction of espresso.
The pump models generally are easy to open. In most brands, the top cover is fixed with two to four screws. In the Barista/Rio Vapore models, the top cover curves around to the back and the top has two screws. The front end has about 1/3" 90 degree fold. This folded lip is wedged between two plates. It may be necessary to use a long screw driver or other rod, pushed under the top cover, alternatively on either side of the machine to nudge the cover free and lift up. Note the slide along the left side in the picture below. Once the top cover is taken off, the entire internal set up can be viewed. The pictures below show two popular models:
1. Gaggia Model Espresso (without solenoid valve)
2. Saeco Espresso Classico (rapid steam model)

Can I repair it myself?

Notice if you can hear the pump when you are opening for steam. If you dont hear it ther is a problem at the switch. If you hear it then the tube is just blocked with milk.

My saeco royal expresso machine is saying ventaliate and does not work what do i do

hello my name is Lee Davidian and am an expert on FixYa and here is the answer..
Having read the other reviews here, I was prepared for the cryptic "VENTILATE" message. (The manual refers to this procedure as "Loading the circuit", which doesn't help to clarify things.) Of course this refers to what Americans would call "priming" the machine. As mentioned in another review, there is a plastic hand pump supplied for priming, but that is only needed in the event that the electric pump fails to self-prime. All I had to do (following the quick-start instructions) was to select the Hot Water function; the internal pump quickly primed itself

Cannot operate the machine

Hi,

You can take out brewing unit and when it out you can see a hole in the chassis, that pin you see in the hole is the problem, take it out and clean it. If this problems comes back you have to take it to a Saeco service center
