If this is for the Fridgidaire model you have listed in the heading you used, you can find all the parts you need at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in your complete model number in the search menu and look under the CABINET/DRUM heading. A parts list with illustrations will be provided. I hope this helps you.

Drop my marriage ring in to Frigidaire GLGT1031CS

1. Unplug the unit.

2. Tilt the unit up to where the front feet are in the air and the back feet are still on the ground. Please make sure the unit is propped up safely.

3. Now that the unit is propped up look inside on the bottom right hand side there is a black looking accordion thing. This is the coin trap.

4. Clean the drum out with as much water as possible and have towels ready. The next step you will have the remaining water come out.

5. At the top of the coin trap where it is attached to the drum is a silver spring with a silver screw. Loosen the screw and wiggle the coin trap down from the drum.

5. Reach inside the coin trap and clean what is inside of it out.

6. Put the unit back together following the same steps backwards

Clothes caught between drum and top of front panel: Frigidaire

You have a bad tub seal. It is glues onto the front panel...looks like a thick felt pad. Common thing on Frigidaire dryers.

I have a frigidaire dryer model#FEQB2152FEO. A big white plastic piece broke off around the inside front. It looks white and circular and it seems like it was maybe a seal or ring around the drum?

did you ever get a solution for your problem with your dryer? i have same frigidaire dryer model number and the plastic ring on the front inside just broke off in mine last week and im not sure what to do to fix it.

Clothes keep catching in front ring area

>>A repair man replaced the plastic ring but the gap is still there, ruining several items per load. Is it repairable or a fatal defect?<<

The repairman should check the drum rollers, the guides, and the baffles to be sure the dryer drum is rolling true (round). Also, the replaced ring should be re-checked to be sure it's installed correctly.

GLER642AS0 drum upper glide makes drum too tight

well you could .kenmore /whirlpool dryers only have a fat felt seal for the drum to ride on,but then the drum it's self is lined with a plastic ring.i have put many of those glide kits on a Frigidaire dryer.the drum goes over the glides,it can be tricky ..you can also have someone open the door while you try to work the glides into place with your hand from the inside.if you have any other questions please email thru fix ya. YOU MOST LIKELY HAVE A REAR DRUM BEARING FAILING. IT IS A SMALL TEFLON BEARING THAT SLIPS ON OVER THE REAR SHAFT OF THE DRUM AND INTO THE HOLE IN THE REAR OF THE DRYER. THERE ARE ALSO FRONT GLIDES THAT SUPPORT THE FRONT OF THE DRYER. OLDER DRYERS HAVE THE FRONT SUPPORTS UNDER THE DRUM SO THE DRUM RESTS ON THEM. NEWER G.E. DRYERS HAVE A PLASTIC RING WITH THREE TEFLON GLIDES ON TOP OF THEM AND THE DRUM HANGS FROM THESE GLIDES. REPLACE ALL OR SOME OF THE ABOVE PARTS TO ELIMINATE YOUR SQUEAK.
ON OTHER POSSIBILITY, THE IDLER PULLEY THAT KEEPS TENSION ON THE BELT CAN BECOME A SQUEAK MAKER.

Frigidaire dryer makes noise when it tumbles

"spindle" would seem to refer to the rear drum bearing but teflon would describe the front. Have they both been done? Usually when one is worn out the other isn't far behind. Check the idler arm/wheel for wear. Also motors make a sound when the bearings are bad
