Question about Dewalt 18 Volt Compact Drill Kit
I have just replaced my old NiCd for a 18Volt NiMH battery and have noticed that the replacement battery only has two contacts while the original battery has a third much smaller contact.
is the third contact for battery reconditioning?
Might the lack on this contact cause the new battery to get charged incorrectly?
any help appreciated
The newer type of battery had an electronic inside only. older style battery had sensor only.
