I'm surprised that moving the hands physically didn't break it!
Use the mode button to cycle through to 'HS' (Hand Setting), then use the 'Light' and 'Receive' buttons to advance or rewind the hands.

same problem i opened the back of the watch very eazy just 4 srews. And moved the hands to my time zone hope this helps you. now i have to do the alarm it keep going off a 3 pm every day i feel that will be much harder.
