Make sure that your laptop have the printer software/driver installed in it, Printer needs driver that allows it to communicate with your computer/Laptop. Sometimes drivers need to be updated.

because of that u have sata hdd in your laptop you have install sata driver in your laptop and try to install windows xp or use the windows xp darkl edition to install in your pc

try out a live cd first for copatability...I use backtrack 3 with xp pro sp3 installed on hd..

you can install graphics device in ur laptop and no need to repair your presently window, after installing it, install its drivers in ur laptop.if you dont install graphhics card driver, in that case ur laptop will not give good performance, in case of games, vedio and appearence.

U can install the windows in laptop also.. But with one condition that u do not connect the laptop to the internet.. If u want to connect means u have to turnoff the automatic updates in ur computer.. My best suggestion is u buy a laptop with preloaded OS.. Because Windows XP home edition will not support some options.. Better u buy a preloaded laptop..
