if your window has popped out of its track , a neet hack to get it back in is to use a bar of soap !! just rub a generous amount on glass edge and window track and gently wiggle the glass back into track (don't bend glass) use only an old credit card or your "cold" bare fingers to wiggle it back in , metal tools will break the glass 4 sure
leave the soap on windows edge it keeps ice from sticking !!
you can sometimes get it back in by lowering the window all the way down, pry or hold open the felt seals on the door, and look into the door with a flashlight, you might be able to get it back in track by moving the window back and forth (be carefull not to strain glass or it will shatter).. may have to remove door panel to put glass back on track.
Your Glass Won't go into the Slot? It sounds like your Glass has moved Below inside the Door and no longer inside the track. You need to remove the Door Cover and get the glass back into the Track.
Now WHY did it come out of the Track? Your Regulator is screaming... LUBE ME... LUBE ME.
So while you are working on the Glass, get some White Lithium Grease and put it on the Cables and Moving Parts.. you will be happy you did.
there is a little plastic clip that goes in the hole on the door handle side of the glass on the top corner, put that clip in and push glass back into place
If the motor is working but the glass is not moving something must have broke inside the door. See if you can sneak a piece of duct tape down along side the glass, get it down as far as possible. Use a butter knife or something to make the tape stick to the glass, now try pulling the glass up with the tape. You may want run the window motor at the same time maybe it will catch. If you get the window up, tape it with duct tape so you can get it to a shop to get it fixed. Good luck.
sounds like the track has been dismounted....try to pull off the inside door panel and look for any missing or broken bolts on the track itself... the track protrudes down to keep the window on track....if this is not a problem look at the glass itself...roll the window down a little to see the bottom of the glass. makes sure all of the mounting brackets are in place and secure..
probably need a new window regulator. ebay. 93 to 98 should fit.

The door panel has screws on the bottom of the door panel. If there is carpet on the base of the door panel, the holes are hidden within the carpet.
Also, you have to remove the arm rest, typically it has 2 screws holding it to door and plastic push-in door panel clips on the sides. You can use a screw driver to help pop them out.
The door panel, when loose from door, lift up and off. Take your time so you dont break any tabs on the back side.
If the window is falling off the track, there is a small plastic tab that is mounted to glass or track; it slides in the window channel on front and rear tracks.
You can get this part at your local auto parts house, in HELP section.
drivers window?
the best way to fix it is to replace the window run channel (rubber the glass slides in) and the regulator. or to get by if the regulator isnt bent take the door panel off, take the door glass out, the front of the run channel inside the door is bent foreward a little bend the metal track to the rear a little by hand, careful its weak, spray the run channel with silicone spray and reinstall the glass. if the run channel is torn it wont last.
