Left speaker not working, system crackles if left side is active, alright when left side shut down.

Get a meter and check the resistance on the speaker. Looks like a speaker may be blown but with the description of the crackle noise from the slide controls you might have a bad pot in the unit or the pot has come loose from the board. This could explain why the speaker blew out

Keeps blowing speakers on left front channel

What exactly do you mean by "middle volume settings"? Where is the volume control physically, where are the channel levels set and what is the crossover point? After the crackling appears , do you switch speakers to the right channel to see if speakers are actually damaged or if the receiver is producing the distortion?

CONN MINUET ORGAN One speaker crackles tested by swaping speaker wires which made other speaker crackle seems like problem is further down in circuit so is there anything I could do THANKYOU

You will have to look in your phonebook for a piano and keyboard repair place. Most of the schematics for home organs are unobtainable except to repair persons. If you can find a service manual on the internet it is very likely that you will have to pay for it and then you will need electronics troubleshooting skills coupled with specialty tools. You will have better results if you take it in to be serviced.

I have distortion coming out of my front right channel of my AVR

Yes, sounds like your DSP chip has an issue. Not an inexpensive repair if that's the culpret. Around 400-500 to replace the chip. It's an awesome receiver and worth 300-400 in repair, however, a 3800 or 1800 can be had for 600-800 depending where you look. If you need more help, post a comment and I can help you some more.

Sound only playing out of one speaker in Windows XP

Go into Sound Settings under control panel. There should be a left-right audio control setting in there.

If that doesn't work, try updating the sound driver for your computer.

Sound - one speaker broken

I suggest try updating the firmware of the player. Have you tried listening to the FM station to see if it is only the songs that are being affecter? Also try to use another headphone.

JVC RX558 VBK, Crackling noise from speakers

A quick quess of mine is the following:

The OVERLOAD indicator lights up when the receiver is maxing out on the current it is sending to the speakers. My guess is there is possibly something wrong with the receiver itself, especially since the B speakers won't play. Either that, or something is broken in your speakers or you are using a set of speakers that have too low an impedance rating for your receiver.
