Dell inspiron 1150 network cable unpluged.

I got a dell inspiron 1150 used that connects to the internet with wireless but will not connect with the ethernet cable. It states network cable unplugged. I have used differant cables, checked the drivers and device manager states it is working. How do I fix this problem?

My dell inspiron 1150 won't connect to the internet

Go into your device manager and disable the device, and then reboot. That may give the device a chance to reset itself through windows

Inspiron 6400 detects networks but does not connect to internet

Make sure you are connecting to your own internet connection through your wireless router and not on your neighbor's.....limited connectivity means you are out of reach or signal is blocked....

Dell Inspiron 5100 Internet Access

Do you have your computer connected to your wifi network and your ethernet cable at the same time? Try having it connected to only one and see if that changes anything (ie, keep the wireless on and unplug the cable, or keep the cable plugged in and disable the wireless - if your laptop does not have a button/switch to turn off the wireless, you can do so by going to your network connections area from the control panel, right clicking on the wireless internet icon, and selecting disable.)
