If you turn on the motor and the bag inflates fast your engine is working fine.

You can have something clogged in the mini-emptor, or the fill tube in the exterior bag which can potentially restrict airflow. Also if your bag is full to the line - that is when the airflow begins to reduce.

My dyson animal bagless' suction isn't working. Including the hose - it's not picking up at all...

Sounds like you have little or no suction. If motor is running properly then somewhere down the line you are using the vacuum being generated by the motor. Check all hoses and couplings for the leak.

My Eurika 4D bagless upright will not pick up anything. The belt is not broke but the roller won't spin and there is verry little to no suction. Still makes all the notice but won't roll as easily

You say the belt is not broken and the roller does not spin. Does the motor that spins the belt turn. If the belt does not spin and the little drive motor spins then you will burn the belt out. Try to turn the roller by hand. Could be plugged up with dirt and the roller seized. The little drive motor could be burnt out. Take all hoses and areas out that any dirt could be in. No suction means something is plugged. Even your main suction hose could be plugged.

I have a Hoover Windtunnel UH70212. Just a few months old. I used the attachments a while back and now there is very little suction. The power brush attachment doesn't work at all. Any suggestions?

If there is no suction, there has to be a blockage somewhere in the dirt path. You should hear the motor working a little harder in this condition. Please check the entire dirt path from floor to exhaust (clean all filters too) to find the obstruction.

I have changed the hepa filter & made sure the washable filter is clean. I checked the brush & it's working fine. The indicator is still red very little green. Not suctioning good at all. What...

check the suction hose where it bends down to the floor unit,, lots of times dirt, hair and stuff collects there when the filter was plugged up. remove the floor plate ( like you were going to change the belt ) and use a wire coat hanger to run up the suction hose and back out and clean out any debris, also check the entire hose for blockage ( top to bottom ). if this is all clear and you still have little suction - then the problem could be the vacume motor itself and you will need to take the unit into the repair shop and have the motor rebuilt or replaced.

My central vaccum cleaner has no suction at all outlets even at the canister. The motor is still working and blowing air out the air release tube. What could be the problem

Check the filter in the tank. If this is dirty, the motor will still run, but there will be little to no suction. Rinse thoroughly under warm water, then allow to thoroughly air dry before replacing into vacuum.
I recommend having two filters in order to use one while the other is drying.

When vacuuming carpet with the electric power brush it will ocassionly , go to zero suction mode and shut off the brush. I have tried to cause it to happen by playing with the joint areas ( handle to tube...

You gave a good start to giving us good information to help you with solving this problem-- But I need a little more information:

It sounds like you have the Electric Motor driven Power nozzle/ Floor attachment-- am I correct? (Not the type that has a little vacuum motor down at the floor attachment-- Not one that depends upon air flowing thru the unit to power the brush, -- am I correct?)

You can control the motor with a switch at the handle-- correct?

So here is the question: - when you say "the electric power brush -- goes to zero suction" -- what tells you that it 'went to zero suction'?-- the little red flag on the vacuum?-- or what?

I am suspecting something might be caught up in the floor wand-- or at the power nozzle itself-- or even in the flexible hose. Do you know how to take the hose off, and place the hand-held end, in the opening in the Miele Vacuum? Can you do that, and clear out the hose first-- and then the hose with the want connected?

If they are all clear-- we may need to open the floor plate on the floor nozzle, and check for something caught in the air passageway--

Tell us more

No suction

You have a clog somewhere in the vacuum. Check the hose and the little trap door on the underneath side of sweeper.
Does the brush turn? If not, then the belt that drives the brush is broken. Replace the belt

No suction

have u checked all of the filters. I know that when not all the filters r clean the machine will turn on but then it will sound louder and still have no suction. Most times there is a filter under dirt container thats sits above motor and if this filter is not clean the motor cannot breath. Thus no suction
