Nope..same issues from my end. LG is really tight with their information, which is funny, considering how thin their service coverage is in US..

How do I clean pump in my dish washer

First, are you sure the pump needs cleaned? If it is not removing the water from the machine it could be a couple of reasons. 1. The timer (electronic board) could be bad and not sending a signal for the pump selenoid to open an allow water into pump for removal. 2. The drain hose from the DW to the house drain could be plugged up. But to answer your question. First remove all elecric power from the machine. 2. remove the kick plate on the bottom. 3 you will see the motor and pump in the center. (each model is different) but you may need to remove the motor and pump as one unit from the DW. or you may be able to access the pump housing with out removing from machine (usually there are small clips that hold the housing(cover) on the pump. Get them off and you will have access to the impeller.

My pool pump starts up sounds like its on but not pumping water

Open up the housing between the motor and the strainer basket on the inlet...the impeller, which is the part that actually moves the water is inside. It is likely broken so the motor turns and turns but the pump won't move water. Replace the impeller and the seal if you find this to be true. If you know the brand and model of the pump it will help to find the parts. If not, there may be numbers on the old impeller which may identify it. I was washing a lad of clothes I went in to check if they were done and there was an "ND" on the screen and when I opened the door it was full of soapy water .... I tried to turn off the machine and...

You likely need the drain pump cleaned. Unplug and pull the washer out. Remove cover in back. The pump is attached to the washer's floor. Pinch off the hose from tub to pump. There's going to be some water left in the pump and drain hose, so get a large towel ready. Remove screws attaching black piece (motor) to white piece (housing), pull out motor and clean the housing and motor impeller. Reverse steps to assemble it back together. If you don't hear pump running after completing the cleanin, you may need to check the wiring and/or replace main control board located inside the console. If the pump seems to be running but no water is being drained - replace pump. for Maytag MAH5500B the part number is 25001052.

Good luck!

Leaking where the motor drive and plastic pump join together.

Hi just read your posting.I have had this same problem at a customers house last week. Now the reason the pump doesn't come off is because the motor shaft that turns the pump is corroded, therefore it is jamming the pump on.The only way to get it off is to tap it off with a hammer.Once the pump is removed, clean the motor shaft with sandpaper and refit a new pump.Unfortunately you cant replace the seal on the pump because it is a molded unit.Hope this helps and please reply for further help if needed.

OE code on front load Daewoo washing machine

According to your owners manual you only have two choices...

Your lint screen is blocked or you have a problem with your drain motor (a separate device ).

Old age & experience will add a third... Assume lint did get past all those sophisticated "filters" and is presently residing inside the impeller housing... In the olden days when those housings came apart (aluminum/aluminium) I took out an entire sock and enough lint to make another... My guess today is you buy another plastic pump.

Sorry I could not get part number or price here in the USA...
Not even cleverly saying "spares" (but I did try).

Hope this was helpful.

Our GLTF2930ES3 front end load washing machine will not spin. we did the recommendation listed by replacing the pump and it sill fails to spin. We also inadvertantly locked the system and can not open...

Hi,

Whenever the ,machine do not spin, you need to investigate before you order or replace any part. There might be many reasons and you should check each and every aspect. Follow the below guide that would help you to find the fix :-

It doesn't pump or spin If it doesn't pump water out or spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as follows:

  • If the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it. If the pump belt is broken or looks quite worn, replace it--but be sure to check the pump pulley before you change the belt.

  • If the motor isn't running, the lid switch may be defective. If so, the washing machine can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

It pumps, but doesn't spin If your washer pumps out the water but doesn't spin, check these:

  • The lid switch may be defective. If it is, the washing machine doesn't spin. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

  • The motor coupler may be broken. Many Whirlpool®-manufactured washers use a small, relatively inexpensive motor coupling. It's plastic and rubber and is mounted to the shaft of the motor on one side, and to the transmission on the other. Over time, the coupler wears out and fails. You may need to replace it.

  • A belt may be broken. Many washing machines have one or two belts. If a belt is broken or badly worn, you need to replace it with a genuine belt from the manufacturer. (Some washing machine belts are designed with special characteristics not found in automotive belts.)

  • The clutch may be worn. If your washer is a GE, it may use a clutch to come up to the proper spin speed. As the clutch wears out, it may prevent the unit from spinning well or at all. If the clutch is worn, you need to replace it. For this job, you probably want to hire a qualified appliance repair technician.

  • The drive motor may be defective. Many washer brands use a reversing motor. For agitation the motor runs in one direction, for spinning and draining, the other. It's possible for a motor to burn out in one direction and continue to operate in the other. If this happens, you need to replace the entire motor.

  • The transmission may not be shifting properly. Older washers produced by Whirlpool® have a transmission with an electro-mechanical shifter. If the shifter becomes even partially defective, the unit may drain the water but not spin. This is a complex system, if your washer has a shifter problem, you may want to hire a qualified appliance repair technician to repair it.

  • The spin bearing or basket drive may be worn or seized. These components allow the inner tub to spin freely inside the outer tub. When this is the problem, you usually hear a loud sound during the spin cycle. Call a qualified appliance repair technician.

It spins only with the lid closed For safety, washing machines are made so that they spin only with the lid closed. The lid switch prevents the spinning action when the lid is up.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

BEKO WMA641W washing machine not draining but pump working.

Are you sure the pump is working, or it the motor thats running? If the pump is truly working, there is a clog in pump or line. If the motor is working, but the pump is not, you will need to replace. You can usually buy a replacement pump for the washing machine for around $50. They are usually easy to install for a beginner DYI. Make sure you know the easiest way to remove washing machine housing to get at pump and motor. Unplug entire unit. Remove 2 hoses for pump and either screws or brackets to remove housing. BTW if the washing machine won't drain, you are going to have a bunch of water that gravity wants to dump out of machine. Bring pump to parts dealer for exact match.

Parts manual

well..the parts manuals are hard to find from LG, since they are an Asian company. however, if you get the part number from the pump, you can enter that in Google, and you'll be amazed at how many options there are for this.
