Question about Canon PIXMA MP510 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I can't figure out what's wrong with it but my printer won't feed the paper correctly through the printer. It starts out by pulling more on the right rather than evenly. I think there might have been something dropped in there a while ago but I've turned it upside down, looked at it, shook it, shook it again, yelled at it, cleaned the roller, tried it again, have a ton of botched papers on the floor and don't know what to do anymore. There's not thing helpful on the Canon tech support website and nothing has been helpful via searches.
Please, I like my printer but need it back to functioning status ASAP.
Not sure if it will do it for you guys but after poking around, shaking, etc etc, i hadn't found a solution to the paper jam, I ended up trying to scan and print something, and, the paper aligned better at first and then i tried again after some error messages popped up, turned off the printer, rescanned and it didn't sound good at all, but dislodged a nail, that had fallen into the back cavity! now its working fine, so give it a shot, could just be that something has fallen in and is lodged. hope this helps.

I had the same thing happen to me. It starts out by pulling the paper crooked and then gets stuck before it ever makes it to the next set of rollers. I even tried feeding from the top feed but had the same problem. Another bad thing is that the printer sprays the whole inside with ink since it thinks there is a piece of paper there. So I have been forced to clean my printer after every failed attempt. I highly doubt that we dropped something in it if we are having the exact same problem. I wish that someone could find a solution to this problem or else I am going to end up trashing this one and getting a whole new printer.
