The printer carraige on my Photosmart 2610 will not align

Did you check under Printer, then settings to make sure you selected the correct paper size, then hit "apply" before returning to the print page?

you can download the driver from hp website. Just follow the steps in downloading the driver
1. go to www.support.hp.com 2. enter your product number which is (photosmart 2610) 3. choose HP photosmart 2610 all-in-one 4. click software and driver downloads 5. choose your operating system and click next = to know your operating system just click start then right click my computer or computer then click properties 6. click driver - product installation software 7. click HP officejet and photosmart full feature software and drivers 8. click download then run

Run the HP Printing Assistant software to run the "print alignment" procedure.

Did you install the full feature driver or just the basic driver ?
Do you have another printer installed. If so, select the Photosmart 2610 as your default printer.

transfet belt off alignment

sounds like there is some paper jammed in there somewhere...that's why it's off and explains the noise as it is trying to print

I bought a new ink cartridge which will print well. But the alignment still does not work for some reason. The printer screen says to "check the device instructions" whatever that means. i am willing to continue to use the printer as is unless you have a simple solution. Thanks Gerald Lord
