same error and same model of camera. i did not drop the camera though, it was inside my bag, maybe it was accidentally turned on and since it was still inside the camera bag, the lens did not fully expand, now it wont retract. When i tried to turn it on, it still won't retract and the Lens error 122,1,0,0 showed up.

Hi all! :) I'm from Russia, so excuse me for my english. 20 minutes ago i solved this problem (KODAK M753). It was the sae error. My girlfriend dropped camera. I opended it. When i put out the lens, i start to turn all round parts manually (camera do this automaticly when you turn it off). So i heard some sound (like something was broken). AND ITS WORKING. BUT, now all my photos ARE VERY BRIGHT? What is means? :(

Camera dropped on floor, lens crroked and lens error message like above. Like above, I gently "pulled" the lens out, and it clicked. Turned the camera on and it worked fine.

I had this problem too, my camera just randomly stopped working and shut off. When I tried to turn it on again it said the whole 'lens error' bit and then shut of. The lens looked a bit crocked so I just gently tried to straighten it out and ta-da! Good as new!

That just happened to me,
all i had to do was find the spot where it was stuck,
and pull on it a little,
my cameras as good as new now!

I hate to tell you but unless you can get every thing back in alignment you need a lens replacement. I replace lenses on camera's all the time due to several problems but it sometimes cost just as much as a new camera. check out digital camera repair their are several places out their like mine @ www.digitalcamrepair.com

Problem with Kodak EasyShare M753 My camera was working just fine before but then i try to turn my camera on and i get camera lens error 122 1,0,0 the lenses look crooked and after i try to turn it on it...

You can try to pull and twist on the lens as you turn it on. Sometime this will work. Do it carefully.
Sometimes the lens jumps out of the track, and may be able to be put back with some careful help.

If not, sell as a used as is or repair camera on a site such as Amazon on Ebay.

LENSE WON'T CLOSE

try charging the camera. to full capacity. then turn it on.

could be a dead battery

i would not try to push the lens in, it might cause more harm than good.

if that doesnt help you might have a broken gear in the lens retracting mechanics.
