Hi, all my drivers seem to have deleted themselves. I have no internet or disk drivers and the battery symbol won't start. I have tried using the drivers on the acer website but they won't load, I can't do system restore or reformat. Can someone please give me some advice on how to reformat without a cd (using usb's) or how to load these programmes from usb's because what I'm doing doesn't seem to be working. Thanks for your help.

Canon 600ex-rt speedlite won't turn on with new batteries

I was having exactly the same issue with my 600EX-RT. This is what solved the problem for me. With the power turned off. Hold down the 2 clear buttons for approximately 5 seconds, then turn the power on and hopefully, you should have a fully operational Flash.

System mechanic pro won't start error message

I went through the registry and searching for 'iolo', I deleted all references. Then deleted the files under program files. This worked. I tried going to the hex keys by themselves and that did not work. But I was deleting System Mechanic and Not "PRO".

When try to sign in it says cookies won.t allow it i neeed access to my email what do i do cookies seem to be preventing me from logging on to get to my email

I assume you are using Internet Explorer as your browser. Open the Control Panel > Internet Options > General > and below the general tab, locate "browsing history", select "delete browsing history on exit", click "Delete" > "Apply" > "Ok" (you have to do this while the internet explorer is closed, otherwise all the cookies and temporary files will be unable to delete).

Now open the internet explorer and access the site again. Hope it's gone now and you can access your mails.

If in case the problem persists, you need to use a system cleaner, (click here to download a cleaner-freeware) or run the disk clean-up wizard, open "My Computer" right-click C: > "Properties" > "Disk Cleanup" > on the disk cleanup wizard dialog box options, select the applicable location/programs including Temporary internet files and Temporary files, click "Ok".

[If you are using another browser like Mozilla firefox, googlechrome, etc..etc.. it's best and easiest to run the program mentioned above, but always run the program while the browser is closed]

That'll definitely fix your problem.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Dell dimension b110 not reading cd drive

Do you have any device drivers loaded on your system that may be interfering? Such as ANYDVD or some other app? Does this happen with data DVD's as well as movies?

Have you tried starting your DVD player application and then inserting the disk into the drive?

One thng you may want to try is going into device manager and deleting all IDE devices, then deleting the IDE controllers themselves and rebooting. This should allow Windows XP (I assume it is XP) to re-recognize and re-initialize the hardware. Then you may want to try re-installing the motherboard chipset drivers (there should be a driver disk that came with your machine, hopefully) just to make sure they are all in good shape.

Internet cookies keep deleting themselves

If you use Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - Reset, you may have to reinstall toolbars and such.

but if they are not saved after that, it may be a Anti-Malware or Privacy software that is doing this.

Lost my laptop sound & display

Try this:-

How to update your Sound Driver

Try the following:-

First Make sure your PC has access to the internet

Click "Start" --> "Control Panel"
Double click on "System" --> "Hardware" --> "Device Manager"
Search for your "Sound Card" under "Sound, Video and Game Controllers"
If there is a problem you will see an exclamation mark over the top of the symbol
Right Click and Select "Update Driver"
If you have the correct sound driver disk or driver disk that came with the pc
insert this now and select "no not this time"
then "install driver automatically"
Alternatively
Select "Yes this time only" to allow windows to search the internet
If the driver is found windows will install it and may ask for a restart

If the updated driver is not found, follow the above instructions but do not select "Update Driver" select "Properties"
and under the "General" tab your sound device and manufacturer is displayed

Search the internet for the required drivers
