Question about Kenmore 63942 Dryer
Lets see what we can do. wrap the belt around hte tub assy. the little white roller w/ metal arm (called the tension pulley) needs to be installed .there should be a few ****s directly under ther motor pulley on floor of unit.two sets of ****s you wanna use the set to ther rear of unit. insert the prongs into the left rear **** and then pull the roller portion to the right.(it should hook the back prongs of idler into the rt side ****s. tension holds this into position so it will fall out if you let go) theres an opening in the metal under the roller mounts, e**ugh room to slide the belt through.heres how it works, install the idler as described above, feed the belt through the opening in the idler from the left and under roller through hole pull hte roller and pulley hard to the right.(its springy and as long as installed correctly ** worry of popping out) and loop around the motor pulley.let go of the pulley. and the belt should remain tensioned. it will only go on on way. GOOD LUCK
