Question about Nintendo NES Console
Re: Nintendo NES
Hello, I recently purchased a refurbished NES off of eBay. The system was installed with a new 72-pin connector. The games load fine; however, the controllers don't work. The buttons aren't stuck or anything like that.....they seem to press in just fine, but the system acts as if there isn't controller at all. I have tried both controllers that came with the system, and have made sure they are fully plugged into port 1.
Not sure if this helps, but when I jiggle the end of the controller cord that plugs into the portal (pulling it out and pushing it back in), it sometimes acts as if I have pressed the 'start' button. However, regardless of how far I push in the cord, the controller itself still doesn't work.
Please let me kn0w if you have any suggestions. Thanks for your help! -- Rob (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Try going to an old school game store and see if they have and nes controller then try
