1. You could have 2 issues here
a. the timer is not sending a signal to the washer motor to activate the wash cycle
b. the motor has stopped working and needs replacement
Some washers have a direct drive motor and the bearing usually wear the the circuit sensor stop the motor to eliminate any damage to the washer
The other motor if older is belt driven and the belt may have broken and will need replacement. Some motors just freeze up and lock due to age and need replacement.
