Sony warranty is 90 days

If you bought it second hand or like from a pawn shop that might be why it's second hand. You might be out of luck. You could try this;

Best of luck!

Good. I hope it works for ya. Just about everyone I know that owns a PS3 (including myself) has had to send their's in for repair. They obviously have issues and Sony won't stand behind their product. What a joke! Next time I'll buy an XBOX

I have an xbox 360 game that does't work I bought it six months ago can you help

you are not detailed enough sorry. But if it is something like not turning on, your power supply might be fried or it has bad connection between the motherboard and the power supply. If you xbox's right is red, it is best to have a technition over or send it to microsoft. you should have and 1 year warrenty if it is 6 month old!

Red Rim of Death when I switch on my XBOX360! It's no longer covered by warranty! Please help

Log into the xbox.com site and register your xbox for a replacement, after entering your serial number on your xbox you can check if the xbox is really out of warrenty, because of the regular accurance of Red Rings of Death Microsoft has extended warrenty on xbox's that fail because of this

if your xbox is even out of the RROD extended warrenty
the only things you can do is buy a new one or do the towel trick

please check your extended warrenty before attempting the towel trick as it will void your warrenty

the towel trick overheats your motherboard so the thermal paste melts back onto the motherboard, please note this is a completely temporary trick to get your xbox working again

to do the towel trick, unplug everything from your xbox (hdd, Video cables) just have the power cable plugged in, wrap your xbox in 3 or 4 towels and turn it on, either by pushing through the towels or by using your controller, leave the xbox on for 5-10 mins

unwrap your xbox and turn it off
leave the xbox off with everything unplugged for 2-3 hours if not longer (the longer the better, you want to make sure your xbox has completely cooled down) then after it cooling down completely (remember, 2-3 hours minimum) turn your xbox on and it should work, it may experience a fault or two, but a couple of resets generally fixes this, remember this is temporary, might get another month or so out of your xbox

3 red lights

2 reasons

1 theres a power problem check the power unit to see if its still working properly ie on some1 elses. if this is the problem u can buy another power unit.

2 theres a major problem with the xbox.

either take it back to shop if its in warrenty.

or contact microsoft and they will fix the problem for you.

i must add that if its an old xbox they might not repair it because its out of warrenty

last idea is to find a computer shop which repairs xbox and they should be able to do for you but it will cost. and sry i dont know how much.

Wii doesnt turn on

Okay, I had this problem also, it made me freak out, considering it was only 1 week old! what I did, and it worked, is
1. unplug every wire connected to the system (wires to/from wall, to sensor bar, and to/from TV)
2. unplug every other thing connected to it (i.e. memory cards, older controlers, etc...)
3. let it stand off in the dark for a couple of minutes (I reccomend 5 minutes or so)
4. plug the wires back in
5. turn it on
6. put anything else back in (i.e. the memory card)

If that doesn't work, or if this keeps happening, I reccomend bringing it back to the place you bought it (Walmart, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc)
, b/c they can give you a new one, or your money back. However, the warrenty could expire, or not even exist if you bought it online, or if you've had it too long.

I hope I helped you!

Play station 3 - Sony

Try to connect to a different tv, also is the playstation 3 have any abnormal colors on the console, like the playstation 2 is green when on but I think they change to red if something is wrong. You will need to eliminate the problem at a time, hook the PS2 to tv, if it works fine then connect PS3 again, if doesn't look right, then it is no good.

Warrenty issue. Contact Microsoft to get this fixed. There a lot others having the same problem. do not take it apart. This will void the warrenty.
